Like all pilgrims, St. Paul was transformed by his travels, envisioning a new universal spiritual tradition that was enthusiastically embraced by many in the Greek and Roman civilization of his day. We will journey to some of the great archaeological parks of Greece – including Athens, Corinth, Delphi, and Philippi – exploring ancient Greek religion and the emerging Christian faith. We will walk the mystical mountain top monasteries of Meteora and learn about Byzantine Christian religious art and architecture. Throughout our program, we will be treated to the warm hospitality and delicious food of the Greeks. The Rev. Gregory Farrand invites you to join him and members and friends of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church for this exciting program! Pilgrimages continue to be a powerful offering within our Holy Trinity community. This ancient practice invites us to step off the hamster-wheel of our busy lives, creating space for camaraderie, reflection, adventure and a fresh perspective on life and spirituality.
